OUR NAME

Ripples at Eight -
what does it mean?

We often get asked about our name and the meaning behind it.
To us, it represents the core of our purpose combined with our way of working when supporting companies and their people tranform.

Ripples refer to the term Ripple Effect, which can be described as a disturbance that occurs in a system and moves outward to shake up an increasingly larger part of that system. With our purpose, we want to create ripple effects of consciousness and meaning to people, organisations and society.

At Eight refer to a brain wave state, where we are bridging between our conscious mind and subconscious mind. This state is called alpha and when we are in this state our brain waves are measured between 8-12Hz. We feel more relaxed and calm and our subconscious mind is open to new information and suggestions.

In other words, when we dare to look ourselves in the mirror and change the way we show up in the world, we can create extraordinary ripple effects around us.

    Kristine is founding partner in Ripples at Eight and brings 15+ years of experience as management consultant (Implement, Deloitte) and inhouse consultant (Danske Bank) within organisational development, culture transformation, leadership development and process optimisation.

    Kristine is certified in Emotional Intelligence EQ-I-2.0, ADKAR and Actee.

  • Camilla Holm Elkjær

    PARTNER
    Camilla is founding partner in Ripples at Eight and brings 10+ years of experience as management consultant (Implement, PwC) and inhouse consultant (Danske Bank) within culture transformation, HR, organisational development, and leadership development.

    Camilla has multiple mindset coach- and NLP certifications.

We are ripples of consciousness of the vast ocean of consciousness. If we get agitated and become part of the reactionary and vitriolic behavior sometimes around us, we will only add to the disturbance.
